Snakes and bugs

Olivia picked out a Jr. Encyclopedia on reptiles and bugs to read while in the car on Sunday. She was really fascinated with the snakes and some how got on the topic of them as a source of food. She asked if we eat snakes and I told her no but I think you daddy ate one once. She immediately said,"daddy eats snakes" and we corrected her that it was a one time deal. As we pulled up to the stop light, our friends the Hamblins were next to us and I rolled Olivia's window down to say hi but instead she yelled out the window, "MY DADDY EATS SNAKES!" Tomas and I laughed the whole way home from church :)
